EBC Brakes have recently introduced new compounds to their range and are much improved over previous materials. For the Motocross application comes the MXR compound and the Road Race, the HH compound. They also supply clutch kits including the EP kits (extra plate) for Motocross applications which tend to give a better drive take-up.
Moto-Air filters will help breathe that much needed extra airflow to your engine and with the combined use of the PJ1 Foam Filter spray will hold back the premature engine wear caused by poor filtration which we see all too often
Power transmission is a subject so often overlooked. The accurate transmission of power from the engine to the rear tyre is of great importance as all important horsepower can be lost. Renthal have recently introduced a range of chains specifically designed for the Motocross and Enduro applications which are of much higher specification than the standard heavy duty chains we have been used to in the past, and at little extra cost. To complement these chains is their comprehensive range of lightweight steel front sprockets and ultra-lightweight high grade aluminium alloy rear sprockets.
Carbono reeds have given us very good results, particularly on the smaller capacity Motocross applications, eg. KX60 - 65's and can be a cost effective replacement for original equipment.
Polisport have refreshed their product range to include side panels, front and rear mudguards, number boards, enduro headlights, disc and fork guards for most Japanese Motocross applications, at a fraction of the cost of original replacements.
